The Liberia supreme court has ruled that buildings and property belong to Liberian United Methodist Churches and may not be taken away from them. This fact is in the United Methodist constitution (Discipline), but some churches wanting to disaffiliate have been trying to take property. Hopefully violence will stop.
IGRC says “goodbye” to Rev. Eric Swanson who was brought up at Bethel Wesley. He has taken the job of Director of Connectional Ministries in the Wisconsin Annual Conference and has served several churches in IGRC for the last 20 years. God bless Eric and Cori and their family as they move to Madison; we will miss them.
