Serving with Love
At Bethel Wesley, we are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ by reaching out to our
local community and beyond. If you feel called to serve, explore the many opportunities
coordinated by our Missions Team—and discover how you can make a meaningful
difference.
Pancake Breakfasts
Our monthly Sunday morning Pancake Breakfasts support Liberian children and the
John Kofi Asmah School as well as Harriet Bailey UMC School, helping provide
education and hope.
Angel Child Program
During Christmas, we brighten the holidays for local children in need through the Angel
Child Program.
Food Baskets
At Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we provide food baskets to families facing
hardship in our community.
Easter Offering
Each Easter, we collect a special offering to support the local and global ministries of
the United Methodist Church.
Food Pantry Support
Bethel Wesley actively supports the local food pantry. You can donate non-perishable
food items any time during the week or on Sunday morning. Donation carts are located
in the Activity Center (near the kitchen) and the Narthex (near the office).
The Place2Be
We serve hot meals to the students at The Place2Be, a drop-in-center for the youth in
Rock Island, IL
The Community Resource and Learning Center
We support a local family literacy program by offering the use of our building and
actively participating in their activities to help promote learning and growth in our
community.
