From the desk of Pastor Jan . . .

Meet Meyer, the grandson of Mark and Becky Montgomery. He bravely fought a tough battle against cancer and won! His powerful poem, Cancer Did Not Win, earned him the Purple Ribbon — Grand Champion at the       Washington County Fair. What truly moves me is the final line of his poem — a prayer asking God to strengthen him. Like Psalm 28:7 says, “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.” Meyer’s faith in God has been his true power through every challenge.
May we all find that same faith and courage so life’s challenges never win.
